The heart of it.

Hatchkin is a cozy reimagining of the classic virtual pet. There is no catalogue of pets to pick from: your creature's species, colours, markings and even its name are generated the moment it hatches, and no two hatches are ever alike. It lives in real time — through ten life stages, from Hatchling to Elder — and it lives on while the app is closed, waiting for your next visit like a very small housecat.

Care is the whole game, and care is what your companion remembers. Feed, tidy, play, cuddle and teach tricks through short, gentle check-ins; loving attention slowly turns a Worrywart into a Sweetheart, and a lifetime of good care lets an Elder live practically forever. When a life does end, it is kept — every companion earns a keepsake in the memory album.

Species, body, ears, eyes, markings, palette, name — all generated just for you. Meet a Mossbun no one else will ever meet.

Care for the egg shapes the hatchling's temperament, and a real personality keeps drifting with how you treat them — eight archetypes, from Worrywart to Sweetheart.
