Terms of Service — Hatchkin

Plain English summary: The game is free, has no in-app purchases, and is supported by a small number of child-appropriate ads. Your pet, coins and keepsakes are just for fun — they have no real-world value and can't be bought or sold. Play fair on the leaderboards. The game is provided "as is", and these terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you're a child, ask a parent or guardian to read this with you.

1. Who we are

MB Natura Tubs ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in Lithuania, registration number 306734107, registered address Prancūzų 77-11, Kaunas, 44427, Lithuania.

2. The Game

Hatchkin is a free virtual pet game available for Android via the Google Play Store. The game plays offline, with optional online leaderboards and achievements via Google Play Games. It is suitable for all ages; if you are a minor, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

By downloading or playing the game you confirm that you (or your parent or guardian) have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

3. Licence

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the game or any part of it
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the game
Use cheats, bots, automation, memory editors, or modified clients
Manipulate the device clock or otherwise falsify play time to game the leaderboards or achievements
Remove or alter any proprietary notices, or use the game for any unlawful purpose

4. Free to play & advertising

The game is free to download and play and contains no in-app purchases. It is funded by advertising: a small banner and an optional rewarded ad (the "pep-up") that you choose to watch, at most three times a day, to help care for your pet. All ads are non-personalised and child-appropriate, as described in our Privacy Policy. Watching ads is never required to play, and ads never grant coins or anything you could otherwise buy.

5. Virtual items

The game includes virtual coins, habitat items, and album keepsakes that you earn by playing. These items:

have no monetary value and are not your property;
cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real money or anything of value;
are licensed to you for use within the game only; and
may be lost if you clear the game's data, uninstall the game, or change devices, and may be modified in updates.

Your pet lives in real time and habitat items belong to your current companion by design — this is part of the game, not a defect. We are not liable for the loss of any virtual items, companions, or in-game progress.

6. Leaderboards & fair play

The online leaderboards and achievements are provided for entertainment and are entirely optional. We may, at our discretion, remove scores or restrict access where we reasonably believe cheating, tampering, or clock manipulation has occurred. Leaderboard and achievement functionality is provided by Google Play Games and is subject to Google's terms.

7. Your data

Your pet and progress are stored locally on your device. The game shows ads and uses anonymous analytics, and — if you sign in — Google Play Games. How this data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy. We keep no personal data on our own servers and are not responsible for loss of local progress caused by device failure, data clearing, uninstalling, or OS updates.

8. Updates and changes

We may release updates to fix bugs, improve performance, or add features, and updates may be required to maintain compatibility. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the game or any feature (including the online services) at any time. Where a change materially affects your use, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Intellectual property

The game, including its design, source code, artwork, music, and content, is owned by MB Natura Tubs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. Creatures generated in your copy of the game are part of the game's content; the systems that generate them remain ours.

The name "Hatchkin" and any associated logos are trademarks of MB Natura Tubs.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The game is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that online services will always be available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the game shall not exceed the amount you paid for it — which, for Hatchkin, is nothing. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

12. Termination

You may stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) do so.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
